SQlab 5OX mountainbike pedalen

Het kunststof platform van de 5OX-pedalen is versterkt met glasvezels (30%). Het platform met 11 pinnen per kant biedt een groot contactoppervlak (110x105 mm) met een licht concave vorm, voor maximale grip. In tegenstelling tot sommige andere pedalen ontbreken storende bobbels rond de as.

Lang verhaal kort: de SQlab 5OX-pedalen hebben niet het dunste profiel, zijn niet de lichtste, maar zijn wel bovengemiddeld sterk en duurzaam, met een enorme hoeveelheid grip.

De 5OX-pedalen zijn natuurlijk wel een echt SQlab-product. Ze komen daarom in drie verschillende aslengtes, zodat rijders met grote voeten niet meer hun schoenen langs de cranks of de achterbrug hoeven schuren omdat de as te kort is.

Waarom vezel versterkt kunststofcomposiet?

Bij harde contacten met bijvoorbeeld stenen en rotsen kan een pedaal bezwijken, maar de 5OX heeft in onze tests meestal beter doorstaan dan soortgelijke aluminium pedalen. Om die reden brengt SQlab de 5OXpedalen uitsluitend met een composiet platform en is er geen aluminium uitvoering.

Per zijde telt het SQlab 5OX-pedaal 11 pinnen. De pedaalpinnen worden er via de onderzijde met een inbuskop ingedraaid. Sterk en makkelijk te vervangen. Goede, hoogwaardige lagers zijn essentieel voor een lange levensduur. SQlab gebruikt daarom Japanse precisielagers aan de buitenkant en glijlagers aan de binnenzijde.

Pasvorm

De drie verschillende aslengtes waarborgen een natuurlijke voetpositie op het pedaalplatform; met name bij grotere voeten, een V-vormige voetpositie of rijders met een grotere zitbotjesafstand (die over het algemeen een grotere Q-factor vereist). 

Ergonomische positie

Het licht concave en naar buiten gedraaide pedaaloppervlak zorgt voor een ergonomische positie op het pedaal en zorgt tegelijkertijd voor een enorme grip. Om het platformoppervlak te maximaliseren is de asbehuizing verzonken in het platform, dus zonder storende bobbel in het midden van het platform.

Beautiful gems! However…

Had to dock 2 stars because the tweezers are too flimsy to actually assist with applying the gems, which sucks because that was a huge selling point for me. Additionally, the glue sticks a little too well to the paper. Many gems detached from the adhesive, which made them useless if the objective is to apply the gems to your face. Still had to award a few stars because the ones that did manage to successfully pull from the paper without coming apart, stayed on my face for about 3-4 hours outside in the sweaty heat. I anticipated to lose a few but they survived and that impressed me!

Very comfortable. Good stickiness.

These face/body gems are decent quality. It comes with a generous amount of gems - 3 sheets of gems in various sizes. A couple of the gems arrived with defects - the gold paint had flaked off some parts to show black underneath. Most of the gems were in good condition though. These are very lightweight and comfortable to wear. I forgot I had them on at one point and was reminded when I looked in the mirror. The adhesive did not irritate my skin at all and I wore them for a few hours. I was also able to reposition the gems several times without them loosing their staying power. I had to be careful when removing the gems from the plastic sheet because sometimes the adhesive dot would stay stuck to the plastic sheet and the gem would come off without any adhesive attached. I was able to put it back down and get it to re-stick to the adhesive and then carefully remove them together in order to apply it on my skin. Overall I'd say these are worth the purchase.

Bling that is shiny and some of the prettiest pinks - perfect for Valentine's Day!

For just about 5 dollars you get 3 sheets of Pink Face Gems/Hair Jewels by VVPESCA. These gems come in the prettiest pinks and have an amazing shine to them. You get your traditional gems of different sizes, but also some that come in unique hearts and stars shapes. I tried sticking them on my face and they stuck very well! I was shocked that they did not come sliding off, even with make-up on. However, when I was ready to remove them, they did come off surprisingly easy and did not leave any sort of mark or irritation. I have not tried them in my hair just yet, but based off of the high quality, I think it would work equally as well. This set of bling comes with a tweezer tool to help remove the gems from their sheets and apply them precisely where you want them. It is more helpful than I realized, as I originally tried placing them on with my fingers and it just didn't cut it as well as the tweezers. I love this set of bling! These jewels are truly great for anytime, but they are especially cute for Valentine's day. I will be wearing some that day to add a little something special!

Cute, with effective self adhesive

These are super cute. I’ll start with the packaging: The kit comes all together in a plastic pouch. There are three sheets of gold stud stickers, and a separately packaged pair of application tweezers. The sheets are individually packaged with a thin cardboard backing to keep them from wrinkling, and they themselves are stuck onto a transparent sheet of plastic. They are secured with tiny plastic double sided stickers on the back, similar to double sided tape. Note: sometimes the stud pulls right off the sticker, but you can grab that bad boy gently with the tweezers, peel it off, and stick it right back on without losing any adhesive property. I decided to just experiment with them to see how they work. I was able to move the studs from one part of my face to another, testing out what different piercings might look like, and on the third location change I just left them there and they stayed perfectly fine without falling off. So don’t let the occasional sticker pulling away from the stud concern you; the self adhesive is actually pretty legit! I know I look like I haven’t slept in three years, but including a picture after I had already moved them around a few times so you can see how they managed to keep their stickiness. I plan to do an elaborate makeup look and utilize them for it tomorrow so I might come back and add cooler pictures of that as well!
